We engaged Megan and her team at the start of the COVID19 pandemic to act as an IPC subject matter expert for a state-wide IPC consultancy service our PHN established during the COVID19 pandemic. Megan’s knowledge, professionalism and commitment to our vision for the consultancy service was second to none. Megan regularly provided professional and expert advice to Victorian general practices, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and Pharmacies during her time as an SME. Megan and her team also worked with us to develop an IPC self audit tool which has been rolled out to Victorian Urgent Care Clinics to help themselves and their PHNs to monitor their alignment to the RACGP accreditation standards. This was a significant piece of work and Megan led us and provided invaluable guidance as we developed the tool and continues to support us as the tool becomes embedded in practice. We continue to engage Megan and her team to provide expert IPC advice to our external stakeholders and would highly recommend anyone considering using the service to go ahead and take the plunge.

We have used Hands-On Infection Control every year since 2007 to provide flu vaccinations to our 90+ head office staff. Their service is easy and efficient. We call them, book in a day for the vaccinations and they promptly send us all the information our staff need to know. On the day they are always early and prepared, they usually run ahead of time with the vaccinations as their experienced staff know exactly what they are doing.
