Direct observation is the gold standard to monitor compliance with optimal hand hygiene practice.

Our consultants and advisors are available to accurately assess Hand Hygiene (HH) compliance in your facility. They are approved HH auditors following completion of the Hand Hygiene Australia workshop, 5 Moments education program and the practical 5 Moments validation components.

To accurately assess HH compliance against published guidelines our “gold standard” observers use a standardised HH observation assessment tool. Data collected will be analysed to calculate the overall rate of HH compliance for each area in your facility and a report generated which can then be used to improve hand hygiene practices through culture change and education.
