The Australasian Society for Infectious Disease (ASID) New Zealand Annual Meeting 2020 will be held on Friday, 30 October. Initially planned to be held at the University of Auckland, it is now scheduled to be held as a virtual meeting. Connecting to the conference via local hubs on the Friday, 30 October is encouraged.
This course is designed for individuals from a variety of roles/professions working in an Aged Care Setting. It comprises 6 modules, about 18-20 hours learning.

World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) aims to increase awareness of global antimicrobial resistance and to encourage best practices among the general public, health workers and policy makers to avoid the further emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections. The slogan for 2020 will be "Antimicrobials: handle with care" applicable to all sectors. The theme for the human health sector for WAAW 2020 is “United to preserve antimicrobials".
