Regional AMS Summit 2025

The Regional Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Summit 2025 is hosted by the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship (NCAS) and the Royal Melbourne Hospital Guidance Group. This hybrid event will bring together clinicians, researchers, health service leaders, and policymakers from across Australia to share experiences and explore practical solutions for strengthening AMS in regional and rural settings.

Program highlights include:

• Regional AMS Models of Care – with speakers from Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales
• Workshop: Building the Case for Regional AMS – led by Prof Lisa Hall, with medical and pharmacy perspectives
• Panel: Sustaining AMS in Regional Australia – featuring leaders from the Victorian Government, NCAS, and Safer Care Victoria.
