SUMMARY:Food Safety Week 2022
DESCRIPTION:Australian Food Safety Week 2022 will be held from 12 – 19 November 2022. The theme will be ‘Food safety – raw and risky’ covering the risk of food poisoning from raw or minimally cooked meat\, poultry\, fish\, eggs and vegetables as well as the risk of possible parasite infections. the Food Safety Information Council will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary of educating the Australian community in food safety. A community package containing social media tiles\, posters\, sample media release\, a quiz and event registration will be available in September.

SUMMARY:14th HITH Society Annual Scientific Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The annual Hospital in the Home (HITH) Conference has become a cornerstone of the HITH Calendar and is the must-attend HITH event of the year\, and this will be even more so given it will be our first face-to-face event since 2019. The conference will strive to offer plenty of networking opportunities to meet and interact with colleagues from Australia and New Zealand\, as well as our invited speakers\, sponsors and exhibitors. The HITH society wishes to hold this event face-to-face for all the major benefits this offers both attendees and sponsors. \nThe theme of the conference is Extending the Reach of HITH focusing on In-Reach and Out-Reach. The HITH Conference organising committee aims to broaden the people engaged in HITH and the linkages with non-traditional HITH services. The program will explore sub-themes of: Women & Children; Staffing and models of care; and Profile\, linkages and engagement.
