DESCRIPTION:Australian Food Safety Week is scheduled from the 8 to 15 November 2025\, the theme is “Don’t swallow the myth – food safety myth busting”. It is observed to raise public awareness about food safety practices and reduce foodborne illnesses. \n \nEHOs are encourage to promote the event through local communication channels including social media and newsletters. Check out the Food Safety Information Council for an example media release and social media graphics. Look out for the Department of Health’s media release\, social media posts and radio interviews that we plan to promote during the week.
